A platform-length LED bar that shows where the train will stop and where its doors will be, before it arrives. Travellers spread out: faster boarding, less crowding, a safer platform. Built-in radar reads how busy each stretch is. Won an SBIR innovation grant for platform-edge safety, funding the step into a live station.

The platform that shares open learning materials across Dutch education, part of the national Npuls programme. Embedded in SURF's CXP team: architecture and microservices, an APA 7 citation service, an interactive API explorer, internal admin tooling, and a public MCP service that opens the catalogue to AI assistants.

Concept and prototype for a station clock that turns the wait into colour — a block for every minute to departure, swept away one by one as the minute hand passes.
